The Abu Dhabi Youth Council -in cooperation- with the Department of Government Support in Abu Dhabi; offers the Abu Dhabi Freelancing Platform: Ra'ed. It provides several opportunities for the nationals of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi who are interested freelancing, and wish to provide services to the different local sectors and various entities through projects and services, according to their specializations and skills, in exchange for money.
Ra'ed platform is the first governmental interactive platform at the level of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, which aims to invest in national skills and competencies, strengthen strategic partnership with government and private institutions and agencies, and provide various services by the hands of the Emiratis.
Ra'ed platform aims to highlight and support the skilled UAE nationals, freelancers, creative nationals who are looking for new and flexible work models, talents, fresh graduates, employees, retirees, senior citizens with experience, and other groups of society to be freelancers and enter into the world of entrepreneurship.
Ra'ed platform connects independent business owners, start-ups, micro and small enterprises with government, semi-government, private sector, and community members. It allows all entities registered on the platform to specify the services and projects they wish to employ citizens for, and support them to develop their skills and talents, enlarge the scope of their business, and encourage them to continue entrepreneurship and private businesses.
